The American Society of Dowsers, Inc., is a national not-for-profit organization. The Oregon Territory Chapter, centered in Portland, Oregon, is also known as the NW Dowsers Society.
Dowsing uses a variety of metal rods and pendulums in various shapes; and for those who enjoy the 'instant rod' method, there are tree branches in the traditional 'Y' shape.
Dowsing has many applications. The universally recognized application is that of locating the best place to drill for a water well. Other primary applications today are that of locating objects such as missing items, e.g., car keys; and for receiving information. The information may be from other vibrational dimensions, or may be from within the 'third dimension', e.g., where within the walls of a specific building is the electrical short occurring; or information regarding the number of people attending a particular function. The uses of the rod are as varied as are the individuals seeking information.
Learning to use a rod is quite easy, but it does require practice like anything else to become proficient so that the accuracy of the answers reaches a high percent. Side benefits of practice include learning to trust yourself, the development of your natural instincts, and learning to receive information without the rod.

The Oregon Territory Chapter meets once a month and includes relevant speakers and topics with opportunities to practice and ask questions about dowsing.

When available we will host guest speakers whose topics can range from Shamanism to the Metaphysical--thought forms, the use of colors found in the Light--to Third Dimensional Applications that will enhance your Free Will choices of experiences in this dimension.
